Day 1 Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Airport, transfer to Naggar
Day 2 Naggar
Walk and explore around the village of Naggar
Day 3 Naggar
Walk to traditional village Tilasharni, then visit ancient Krishna Temple, through Nashala village, and back to Naggar. After lunch, visit Pangaon Buddhist Monastery (4 hour walk)
Day 4 Naggar
Visiting the traditional heritage village of Jana. In the afternoon, preparing for trekking.
Day 5 Bijli Mahadev camp site
Leave Naggar, walk up to Bijli Mahadev Temple. After, walk to camping area overlooking Kullu town.
Day 6 Matikochar
Follow the ridge to Matikochar, walk through the forest, follow rough jeep road for 2.600 meters. (4-5 hour walk)
Day 7 Futasor Pond camp site
Continuing climbing the ridge to Futasor Pond. Camp by neighbouring meadow. (5 hour walk)
Day 8 Dohra Nala camp site
Trek into the Malana Valley, camping at Dohra Nala, about 3.000 meters walk. Bonfire in the evening with dinner. Moderate/tough climb. (5-6 hour walk)
Day 9 Chaklani camp site
Climb towards ridge between Manlana and Beas Valleys, about 3.500 meters. Then on to Chaklani, then bonfire, dinner, and camping at an altitude of 3.400 meters, below the ridge. Moderate/tough walk. (4-5 hour walk)
Day 10 Nagruni Meadow camp site
Leaving Chaklani, heading to Nagruni. Crossing Chandrakahani pass (3.660 meters), continuing into the Malana Valley, towards the Indrasan Peak. Camping at Nagruni Meadow
Day 11 Lower ridge camp site
After reaching Nagruni, we start the downhill walk to camp. (6 hour walk)
Day 12 Naggar
Passing through villages Pulag and Rumsu, we return to Naggar, descending to 1.760 meters, dinner at Ragini Cottages. (6 hour walk)
Day 13 Naggar
A free day to explore Naggar.
Day 14 -15 Kullu
Visiting Kulla Dusshera Festival. We’ve been to the wild now let’s explore one of the most amazing and colorful festivals taken place in the Himalayas
Day 16 Vashisht – Manali
We don’t go back home before visiting the backpackers headquarter at Manali.
Day 17 Delhi
Back to Delhi for flight home/next destination.
